What Does This SBCSA Offer?
Sailing Lessons
Adult Introduction to Sailing
For ages 15 and up.
Minimum of 3 students per session is required.
Maximum of 12 students per session.
Classes
Eight, three-hour classes are given Monday and Thursday evenings over four weeks. Classes may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and strong or no wind.

Course Objectives
- Learn basic parts of a sailboat
- Learn basic knots
- How to rig and de-rig a sailboat
- Launching and docking
- Sail upwind and downwind
- Turn a boat (tack and jibe)
- Practice crew overboard recovery
