What Does This SBCSA Offer?

Boat Building Classes

Introduction
Each winter the SBCSA conducts a small boat building class. In past years, these classes have made many of the prams used in the Youth Sail Training program, tenders for Appledore IV and Appledore V, and boats for fund-raising raffles. Students may also learn how to perform boat maintenance using the association’s boats for practice.

Classes are open to adult members of the SBCSA. No prior boat building knowledge is required. Basic woodworking skills are helpful but not necessary. For more information, please call or email the SBCSA
