How Can I Help?

Employment

Employment opportunities with the SBCSA are limited to part-time, seasonal positions of Sailing Instructor and Instructor’s Assistant. If you are interested and want more information, please call the SBCSA, (989) 922-7245.

Sailing Instructors must be certified by U.S. Sailing. The requirements for certification can be found on the U.S. Sailing web site.

Instructor Assistants do not require U.S. Sailing certification. Their duties are to assist an instructor during the class sessions. Assistants must be knowledgeable sailors and know how to operate a powerboat.
