Prerequisites:
Participants must be members of the SBCSA.
Youth Intermediate Sailing, Adult Introduction to Sailing, or equivalent experience and permission of the instructor.
Members under the age of 18 must have permission of the instructor and written consent of their parent or guardian.
Objectives
Three sessions, each consisting of two evenings of sailing, will be held to familiarize members with the skills needed to sail Sharp Cheddar, the San Juan 24, which is docked at Bay Harbor Marina. These sessions will not teach you to sail. At the discretion of the trainer, completion of an orientation session may serve as the qualification test required to check out the keel boats for Independent Sailing on the Bay.
The sessions will cover topics such as:
Cost
$50 per member for the two evening session
