Rangeley Sport Fishing Boat has been SOLD
The Rangeley is a 15 foot trout fishing boat based on plans from Newfound Woodworks. The boat is constructed of strip planked, western red cedar with a mahogany transom and an exotic wood compass rose inlaid into the forward deck. It is glassed inside and out with WEST SYSTEM epoxy and 6 oz. glass. Two sets of oars are included with the boat.
This boat was built by the Saginaw Bay Community Sailing Association’s winter boatbuilding class as a fund-raising project to support their youth sailing programs. Photos of the construction can be seen on the web site at http://www.sbcsa.org/boatbuilding2005/.
