Sailing Lessons
Youth Introduction to Sailing I
For ages 8 to about 15. Minimum of 3 students required per session. Maximum of 8 students per session.Classes
Eight, three-hour classes are given Monday – Thursday over two weeks. Classes may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and strong or no wind.

| Non-member   $85.00 |             | at the non-member rate includes a one-year Youth membership in the SBCSA, a $25 savings. |
Course Objectives
- Learn basic parts of a sailboat
- Learn basic knots
- How to rig and de-rig the pram
- Launching and docking
- Sail upwind and downwind
- Turn a boat (tack and jibe)
- Practice crew overboard recovery
