What Does This SBCSA Offer?
Sailing Lessons
Youth Introduction to Sailing II
For ages 8 to about 15.
Minimum of 3 students required per session.
Maximum of 8 students per session.
Prerequisite: Youth Introduction to Sailing I
Classes
Eight, three-hour classes are given Monday – Thursday over two weeks. Classes may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and strong or no wind.

Course Objectives
- Build on skills learned in Introduction I
- Perfecting tacking and jibing techniques
- Sailing upwind close hauled
- Sail trim and telltales
- Sail controls and sail shape
- Proper weight distribution
